INTEGRAL -
Celebrating 50 years of the Toner For Better Images
INTEGRAL, the German manufacturer and worldwide
leader for the Toner for Better Images, is celebrating 50 years of successfully
developing, manufacturing and marketing premium quality toners, delivering
top-performing products to demanding customers that want uncompromised
excellence.
After being founded in 1966, INTEGRAL quickly
evolved into becoming a worldwide reference in the toner industry, with its own
research toner laboratory for copier toner in 1972 and with the introduction of
the first European made electrostatic toner in 1973, giving INTEGRAL the title
of one of the oldest toner manufacturers in the world.
After decades of increasing success translated
into solid business volumes, INTEGRAL has paved the way for independent toner
manufacturers, having become one of the most renowned toner manufacturers in
the aftermarket. A pioneer in producing and introducing the first Microtoner in
1982 totally developed and manufactured in Europe, INTEGRAL was also one of the
first-to-market in terms of the production of a positive Microfine toner for
copiers, which became leader in the market shortly after its release.
With the increasing demand for high quality
toners, INTEGRAL established in 2003 a fully automated toner production plant
in Oyonnax, a French industrial area known as “Plastics Vallée”. At the same time,
aimed at enhancing its production capacity, INTEGRAL had undertaken a set of
business acquisitions including NTT New Toner Technologies and Elfotec AG in
Switzerland, Elfotec Ltd. toner plant in Ireland and the manufacturing assets
of Italian toner manufacturer Baltea. More recently, INTEGRAL acquired
Pelikan’s Brother-type bulk toner business, strengthening its position within
toner challenging industry.
For 2016, INTEGRAL has been preparing a wide
set of new product launches, including an extensive range of colour toners for
Kyocera applications, as well as new projects that will bring value-added to
its customers. On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, INTEGRAL
continues to aim higher, remaining true to its commitment of being a reliable
partner for imaging system professionals, by providing technologically-leading
products that increase INTEGRAL customer’s productivity.

INTEGRAL holds
presentation on European Chemical Law REACH at Focus on Europe Conference
INTEGRAL, the German
manufacturer for The Toner for Better
Images, represented by Mr. Jan H. Hagemann, Managing Director at INTEGRAL,
held a presentation about REACH and its impact on the toner industry at the
annual Focus on Europe Conference, which took place in Rome, between 4 and 5
June 2015.
“REACH revisited:
the impact of REACH on the toner industry” was aimed at drawing attention to
the European Chemical Law REACH and its effects on the
toner business, namely in terms of obligations that every player in the market
should be attentive to, as well as at raising awareness about the implications
of non-compliance. Among other topics, it was highlighted the obligations for
sellers of toner to have their toner ingredients (pre)registered under REACH,
at a time when REACH enforcement started to take place in all European
countries, through on-site inspections. Legal consequences will apply in case
of non-compliance, ranging from heavy fines to prison terms.
As a REACH
early-adopter, INTEGRAL was also able to give a first-hand testimonial about
the implementation of REACH regulation within the company, highlighting in
addition what to expect from a REACH inspection, which INTEGRAL has already
gone through and passed successfully.

INTEGRAL celebrates
49th anniversary
INTEGRAL, the German
manufacturer for The Toner for Better
Images, celebrates this June its 49th anniversary. Founded in 1966,
INTEGRAL has since managed to become one of the leading toner manufacturers
worldwide, after having entered in the toner business as the first independent
company to manufacture electrostatic toners in Europe.
With the big round
anniversary next year, INTEGRAL holds now an extensive range of toners both for
monochrome and colour, having built a strong network of customers around the
world. Solely focused on bringing a quality product to the market, INTEGRAL
launched successfully in the past year a wide range of high quality colour
toners for use in Kyocera, which the company considered to be an important
addition to its portfolio and marked a turning point for its business, as an
aftermarket manufacturer.
At the same time,
INTEGRAL product range was enlarged in late December with the acquisition of
Pelikan´s Brother-type toner business, well-known for its proven quality both
for monochrome as well as for colour. INTEGRAL has been well acquainted with
the manufacturing of positive-polarity toners, such as toners for use in
Kyocera, which are on the main products within the range and sees now the
manufacturing of toner for use in Brother as the next step towards holding a
leading position for bulk toner.
Having invested in a
state-of-the-art production plant in Oyonnax, France, it is part of INTEGRAL
plan to keep up with release of new products on a regular basis. For this year,
the products scheduled to be launched include INTEGRAL colour toners for use in
Canon and Konica Minolta, among others.
In order to keep up
with the increasing orders and demand for new products, INTEGRAL started this
May the construction of a new warehouse facility in its central logistic center
in Kerken, Germany. This new facility will allow INTEGRAL to have an additional
3,000 m2, summing up to 17,000m2 of production, logistics and office building.
INTEGRAL embraces
these changes and developments as a sign of a successful and established toner
business that relies on seriousness and focus on quality on one hand but also,
on the other hand, on a dynamic and trustful relationship with INTEGRAL
customer base. As a result, INTEGRAL is pleased to celebrate today the achieved
sustained success and looks forward to continuing to work for a steady growth
in the years to come.
