16 Nominees for International ‘Open Quality Printing Contest’ Have Been Chosen 

Moscow, September 23, 2019. – The 1^st Stage of the International “Open Quality Printing Contest” is over. During this Stage the quality of imprints (made with the use of compatible laser cartridges) has been evaluated. The evaluation of imprints quality was performed using standardized testing method, LEM 1.01.19, developed by theLaboratory of Electrography.

The Organizer of the Contest is the Information Agency “Business-Inform”.

The Co-Organizer of the Contest is AQCMS (The Russian Association of Quality Cartridge Manufacturers and Suppliers).

The Contest accepted the imprints made with the use of remanufactured or new compatible cartridges of Russian and International brands.

The Contest has seen Russian and International companies taking place in it, the companies presented their imprints made by cartridges of 37 brands. According to the results of testing 16 best brands were chosen. The imprints, presented by those brands, showed high quality, allowing the organizers to declare all 16 brands the NOMINEES of the 1^st Stage of “Open Quality Printing Contest”. The list of nominee-brands is published below.

The detailed analysis of nominee-brand’s imprints allowed choosing the Winners of the 1^st Stage of “Open Quality Printing Contest”. The winner-brands will be revealed on 18^th October 2019 at 04:00 pm in Zhuhai (China) during RemaxWorld Summit 2019 Conference. There the nominees and winners will also be awarded there with diplomas and presents. Within the framework of this event the information regarding will be revealed regarding the beginning and conditions of the 2^nd Stage of “Open Quality Printing Contest” during which it is planned to evaluate the quality of compatible cartridges printimg according to the Russian Standardized method LEM 2.01.19.

Quality Print Evaluating of Compatible Cartridges

            Information Agency “Business-Inform” together with AQCMS and Laboratory of Electrography ltd.  are making a research of the most popular Russian and International brands of compatible cartridges for laser printing. The research is performed by the agency within the framework of the public contract on studying the Russian market of office printing.

            The aim of the research is to identify the most quality brands of compatible cartridges for office printing (new and remanufactured) satisfying the environmental requirements (plastic toxicity, toner carcinogenicity, disposal measures etc.).

            The research is performed in two stages. During the first stage (01 July – 30 September) we perform the quality evaluation of prints provided by participant brands to Information Agency “Business-Inform”. The winner-brands from the first stage are invited to participate in the second stage, during which we perform the evaluation of cartridges and quality of their printing. The evaluation of prints quality and quality of printing is performed according to the LEM method developed at Laboratory of Electrography ltd., and presented at BUSINESS-INFORM 2019 International Expo (Moscow, May 15-17, 2019), certified in Russia, and recommended by AQCMS for comparative research on Russian territory.

            Already the best American, European, Chinese, and Russian brands declared their participation. The period for handing in applications and contract signing for quality evaluation will be over after 31 of July.

            The results will be partially published in BUSINESS-INFORM Review magazine (issue #25, 2019) and in digital issue of E-News Digest.

Within the framework of this process the Agency performs the comparison of prices, print quality, yield, quality consistency for 20 most popular high-yield cartridges (HP CF226X, HP CF281X and others).

The research will be performed between 01st and 30th of July 2019.

The evaluation of quality will be performed based on the Russian method of evaluating print quality (LEM).
