Moving away from a direct distribution model to a Master Distribution model enables Pelikan branded stock to be held in all strategic markets to serve local business needs on a global scale. Santos Printing joins DataDirectin the UK, IR Riprografiain Italy, NewCoSAS in France, and others who are in the contract process to cover more territories in, Germany, Netherlands, Russia, Scandinavia, Middle East and South America.

With the government’s new legislation, as of 1st January 2021 the UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) mark became the new UK product marking for goods being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), with the CE mark (together with UKNI mark) applicable to Northern Ireland, PRE and PRPS are pleased to announce that although the introduction of the legislation, which will allow CE marked goods to continue to be placed on the British market until 1st January 2023, PRPS are on board and ready with the new UKCA mark going forward.

PRE and PRPS will continue selling goods in UK under the CE mark as the UKCA mark is only compulsory for new products to be sold in UK and for replacement stocks imported after CE marked products are sold or after 31st December 2021. Thereafter we will apply a UKCA label. All certifications and compliance markings will continue to be shown on PRPs packaging including the CE mark for UK sales, including WEEE and RohS. The UKCA mark will be positioned alongside (and not replace) the current CE marking.

The independent testing of Pelikan cartridges for the most popular laser cartridges models in Russia performed at the AQCMS Competence Center, allowed to evaluate the quality of Pelikan products: the quality of prints made on HP LaserJet Pro M1132MFP (cartridge CE285A) with the use of Pelikan cartridges complied with the quality of OPEN QUALITY PRINTING CONTEST winners prints, аnd the quality of prints made on HP LaserJet Pro M201  (cartridge CF283A) with the use of Pelikan cartridges complied with the quality of OPEN QUALITY PRINTING CONTEST nominee prints. So the above-mentioned Pelikan cartridges may be recommended for Russian resellers and end-users.
